Welcome friends to the very first blog post! I thought since the warm weather is here to stay, I’d kick it off with my wish list of front porch decor! I already have a couple of these items on our porch, but of course I would love ALL of them.

Rug Layering

First off, who doesn’t love an inviting doormat + rug layering option? I choose this combination because I especially love the “hello sunshine” message since it is sunshine season, after all.

Front Door Flair

I love some great front door flair! In fact, my husband might have said a time or two how I have too much of this said “flair.” My wish list pick is the eucalyptus wreath with this “welcome” sign layered casually over the top. 

Seating

Possibly one of the most important (read: EXPENSIVE) items for my dream porch will be where I rest my tush since there will be a lot of porch sittin’ going on there. I like this loveseat since it’s inviting and doesn’t overpower a small front porch space. I’ve added some Summer themed throw pillows to make it even more cozy.

Ambiance

To add dimension + ambiance, I would add a few string lights on a timer so they automatically turn on as the sun is setting. We currently have these in our backyard though they would also look lovely on our front porch.

Foliage

Lately I’ve been really into artificial greenery so I’ve included these silk, 4 foot topiary trees that would look great flanked on either side of my front door (sadly I haven’t quite yet graduated to live plants). I’ve included some buckets I’d use to house them.

A Little Bit Extra

The final piece of decor is this metal sign so I never forget how my porch is my happy place!
